This beautiful season of the year brings on sunny, warm but also rainy and chilly days which foretell Winter. Irrespective of the weather our children go to kindergarten and school.
But.pools lurk when our kids go to kindergarten or school. It is not nice for our children to step on a pool while walking!!! And then wet feet? Catarrh? Cold? Now it is over. Boots soaking through are going to the past owing to new kinds of material.
Some people may say that wellies have been known not to soak through for a long time. Yes, that is right, but we must also remember that dampness in boots comes from two sources: the foot sweats and a boot soaks through. Wellies protect from soaking through, but if the child wears them all day long the feet and socks are going to be wet with sweat.
Boots that are made of new kinds of material such as SYMPATEX are absolutely new. This material has special features.
SYMPATEX is a thin membrane (a kind of film), placed in between the top and the lining of the boot. This membrane does not let water come inside the boot and simultaneously it imbibes vapour that causes perspiration of the foot.
This material is a special kind of polyester, the particles of which "attract" vapour particles to one another making them move towards the polyester chain. The same membrane makes up a barrier for rain drops or pool water. Graphically (and in a very simplified way) it can be said that material is built of a great number of microscopic funnels, with a wide opening directed towards the foot and a thin end towards the upper part of the boot.
The delicate and very thin membrane is linked with various kinds of material - with leather on tops or on linings, fabric, knitwear, wools before being used for production. Therefore, it can be applied for all types of footwear, on condition that various kinds of material do not negatively influence the membrane, that is, for example, the lining must let vapour though to the membrane and then the top of the boot will remove the gathering perspiration.
However, although the membrane is applied, there are still spots in the boot through which water can get through. The company that wants to give its customers a truly good product must use special solutions so as to make the spots susceptible to soaking "resistant". For instance, linings made of one piece of leather are used. The linings are not sewn up together with the top as a needle leaves little holes, through which water could get through. The upper parts of the footwear are sewn up by impregnated thread. In the spots where material must be sewn up, stitches are insulated with a special tape.
The place in which the upper part of the boot links with the sole may seem prone to soaking - in this case an impermeable foil is applied.
Well, even on a rainy Autumn day, our children can go to school, kindergarten or a park wearing dry boots all the time.
The footwear that was made with use of modern membrane SYMPATEX which does not let water through is shown with an insert or a tag presenting the reserved trademark SYMPATEX®
The SYMPATEX membrane makes up the impermeable barrier for all kinds of liquid and does not allow for soaking drops of rain, mud or snow into the boots. As a result, the boots are always dry inside.
SYMPATEX takes away the excess of dampness that is given away by the feet letting them breathe and be chilly while walking. By regulating the temperature of the feet SYMPATEX gives them comfort and hygiene.
