WE ARE NOT SCARED OF WINTER... provided that we wear Bartek's boots

It is snowing and very cold and our legs are freezing, too. There are snow and water on streets sprinkled with salt - this is the image of winter seen with parents' eyes. And what do children see? Slowly falling snow, making a snowman, snow balls throwing, sleighing, ice skating, sliding, skiing - so much pleasure winter brings children. We cannot refuse our children winter fun, but we should protect them from freezing or soaking and, at the same time, from "Autumn - Winter" colds.

Not only does Bartek know parents' fears but also knows what they expect and fulfills these expectations. In its latest collection, Bartek offers models particularly useful for freezing days - "fur for the legs". Among winter patterns we can find the ones with sheepskin on their linings or on some parts of tops, made in the same way as fur used to be produced. There are a wide range of them: shoes lace up or fastened with Velcro, boots with wider upper parts into which trousers legs can be put, high boots fastened with a zip or without a zip. What is interesting, in this collection there are boots for little children sitting in prams or buggies (from number 20 of French numeration), patterns for kindergarten children and for younger and older school children (from number 40 of French numeration) who wait at bus or tram stops on freezing days.
Sheepskin possesses an exceptional ability to keep warmth that is given off by the feet inside boots. Because of curled strands of sheep hair which make a thick layer on a small space, there is a lot of air which keeps warmth given off by the feet inside boots. Owing to that, the feet do not freeze. In West European countries (especially in Germany) forgotten and unwanted sheepskin are used again not only for footwear, but also for clothing and articles connected with rheumatologic therapy.
It is easy to soak boots through in Winter but only when they do not have special protection which do not let water come inside boots. Such protection is material put inside boots as a membrane. The structure of the material lets perspiration given off by the feet come out and simultaneously makes it impossible for drops of rain or pool water to come into boots. Boots for which Sympatex is used are additionally protected by being covered in spots especially susceptible to soaking (marks after sewing up, spots of gluing the sole with the top) with waterproof foil.

The collection of winter footwear Bartek = warm and dry feet.

Membrane SYMPATEX makes up an impermeable barrier for all kinds of liquid and does not let rain drops, mud and snow come inside boots. As a result, boots are always dry inside.
SYMPATEX takes away the excess of dampness given off by the feet letting them breathe and be chilly while walking. Regulating the temperature of the feet, it gives them comfort and hygiene.
